What Sites Are Best For NFL Fantasy?
There are heaps and heaps of sites used to register a team for fantasy football purposes for NFL (or Gridiron). A few of the more prominent ones are:
For Starting a league/team

http://espn.com.au/ffl/ – ESPN have one of the greatest platforms to run your fantasy league and can help you prepare for your draft with hundreds of articles from people in the know and also provide mock drafts for you to practice your roster construction before your actual draft. They also have a great app for you to easily make roster changes and follow how your players are scoring live.

Http://fantasy.nfl.com – the NFLs official fantasy game platform very similar to espns platform and can be linked with NFL Gamepass to follow your team if you would like. NFL Gamepass is highly recommended for Australian users as you have the option to watch an entire game in condensed mode which just plays the snaps of each play cutting out the all the huddles and ads that would normally clog up a television coverage.

Sleeper app – an app that caters strongly for the dynasty leagues. Similar to all other platforms this app creates a live draft room and allows you to draft your players with your mates but can also edit a few more things. You can even Give your players nicknames if you want to.
For Researching Trends and Players
There is an absolute plethora of different sites and apps that report on NFL players and their expected fantasy impact. The Americans and their NFL coverage are miles ahead of the Aussies and their fantasy coverage of AFL.

http://www.BleacherReport.com – an American sports supersite covering all types of sports not just AFL. They have a great app that can allow you to pick the sports you would like articles to be shown on known as team stream. You can also add your particular fantasy players that you would like to follow and have any articles in which they are mentioned appear.

http://www.FantasyPros.Com – a site which collects all rankings and projections from various “experts” (no one is really an expert unless they can tell the future) and reports and compiles them in consensus lists for you to help make your decisions. The more opinions you can work with the more info you have!
The jist….How Does it Work
Scoring in NFL Differs greatly from league to league so be sure to check what scoring settings your commissioner has left as yours.
For the majority of this site we will be doing analysis and rankings as per 0.5 PPR. Just splitting the difference between all 3 variants. (PPR, 0.5PPR and no points per reception)
What is PPR? Points –Per-Reception.
A reception is a catch/mark coming from the quarterback’s hands. A full 1pt PPR league will greatly favour high volume Wide Receivers (like Mike Thomas or Julian Edelman) and pass catching running backs (Like Lesean McCoy or Duke Johnson).
Another common variant in scoring is how many points your quarterback will accrue per touchdown thrown. The most common Is 4pts or 6pts per touchdown thrown.
